This policy explains what Viralocity Media Ltd. (“Viralocity”, “we”) collects through viralocity.ca, why, and the choices you have. We’re based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and we handle personal information in line with Canada’s privacy law (PIPEDA) and anti-spam law (CASL).
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect what you type into the form: your company name, your name, your email address, your phone number if you add one, your budget range, where you’re starting from, the services you’re interested in, and your project details.
When you email us, we keep the message and your contact details so we can reply.
When you browse the site, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. We also count key actions, such as an enquiry being sent, as anonymous totals.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a plan and quote
- To keep the site secure and stop spam
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages help people find what they need
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Email and consent
We only email you to reply to an enquiry or a message you sent us. We don’t add you to a mailing list. If we start a newsletter, signing up will be your choice, confirmed by email, and we’ll update this policy first.
Who helps us
We use a small number of service providers to run the site:
- Cloudflare hosts the site, protects forms from bots with Turnstile, and provides privacy-friendly analytics.
- Resend delivers each enquiry from the form to our inbox. Resend is based in the United States, so what you send may be processed there.
- Google Workspace hosts our email inbox.
These providers handle information on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we’re discussing or working on your project, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
Contact
For any privacy question or request, email kaelan@viralocitymedia.ca and we’ll respond within 30 days.
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
