Software for the work that has outgrown the spreadsheet.

When off-the-shelf tools aren't enough, we build the right thing. Web and mobile apps, integrations, client portals and internal tools that take the friction out of how your business runs.

An example of software we build: an ordering and roasting tool for a coffee roaster, showing today's roasts, wholesale orders and stock on a laptop, and the roaster's batch log on a phone.

A good fit if

  • Your team works around its tools instead of with them
  • Your data lives in five places and agrees in none
  • A manual process has become the bottleneck to growth

Businesses we work with

  • RunMotion Coach
  • RunEasi
  • Apex Myotherapy
  • Competition Concrete
  • Timeless Carpentry
  • Nexus for Growth

From sketch to shipped.

One screen from Northwind Coffee's ordering and roasting tool, a made-up example, at each stage you sign off before anything is built.

First, a sketch.

We map what the screen has to do before anything is designed: what your team sees first, what they tap, and what happens next. Changing your mind here takes minutes.

You sign off

  • Every screen and what it's for
  • What each button does
  • Who sees what

Then, the design.

The same screen in your brand, with real content and every state drawn: the busy morning, the quiet afternoon and the mistake someone will make.

  • Pine
  • Fog
  • Glacier
  • Ink

You sign off

  • The look of every screen
  • Wording and labels
  • Phone and desktop layouts

Then, the real thing.

Built, tested and connected to the tools you already use. Orders arrive on their own, the roast queue updates itself, and invoices are drafted before anyone asks.

This morning, on its own

  1. 8:58Order from Cedar & Co. Café arrives from the online shop
  2. 8:58Six bags of Guji added to tomorrow's roast
  3. 8:59Invoice drafted in the accounting software
  4. 9:04Huila stock low, reorder suggested

Handed over to you

  • The code and every account, in your name
  • Training for your team
  • Support after launch if you want it

Tools built around how you work.

Discovery
A short, focused stage that ends in a written plan and a quote. The problem, the people using it, and the smallest version worth building.
Web applications
Products and internal tools built on a modern stack and delivered in working stages you can try as they come together.
Mobile apps
Apps for your customers or your team, designed to feel at home on the phone in their pocket.
Integrations
Systems that finally talk to each other, from your CRM and billing to scheduling, inventory and the tools you already pay for.
Client portals
One place for your clients to see documents, status, invoices and messages, under your brand.

Ways to start.

Fewer hand-offs, less re-typing, and a service that feels fast because it is. Pick the closest start and we'll shape it around you.

  • A single tool

One job that eats hours: a quote builder, an intake form, a dashboard.

    • A map of how the job runs today
    • A focused web app that does that job well
    • Connections to the tools it touches
    • Training and documentation

    Timeline From three weeks

Ask about this: A single tool

Teams juggling spreadsheets, inboxes and too many apps.

    • Workflow mapping with the people who do the work

    • Integrations with your existing tools
    • A test environment before anything goes live

Not sure which fits? We'll recommend one.

Built in stages you can use.

  1. Step 1: Map the work

We sit with the people who'll use it and map how the work runs today.

  2. Step 2: Prototype

A clickable version you can try before anything is built.

  3. Step 3: Build in steps

Working software in short steps, in a test environment you can use as it grows.

  4. Step 4: Launch

Your data moved across, your team trained, and the switch made on a quiet day.

  5. Step 5: Look after it

Fixes, updates and new features, if you want us to stay on.

Questions people ask first.

Who owns the code?

You do. The code, accounts and data are yours, and everything is documented so another developer could pick it up.

Have you built software of your own?

Yes. We build and run HockeyOS, a club platform with live stats, game scoring and registration, used by hockey organizations.

Do I need a web app or a mobile app?

Often a web app that works well on phones is the faster, cheaper start. If you need app store presence, offline use or phone features, we'll say so in the plan.

Can it work with the software we already use?

Yes. Most projects connect to tools you already have, such as accounting, booking, payments or a CRM, so nobody has to type the same thing twice.

How much does custom software cost?

Every project is quoted individually, and larger builds are split into phases so the first one pays off sooner. Share your budget range and we'll show you what it gets you.

Tell us where you're starting.

Share your company, your budget range and what you need. We'll come back with a plan and a quote, and everything we build stays yours.

No strings attached. No obligation, and everything we build is in your name.
